Simon Visco's new EP "Bittersweet Bliss" is finally out on all major streaming platforms! This incredible artist that I had the honour of meeting in 2015 at where else, but a Jimmy Page book signing event in Toronto. Since then, not only a friend, but a fan of his incredible song writing and musicianship. On hiatus from Mojo Stone, Simon has released a collection of songs that are both powerful and command multiple listens.

March 6, 2006 - London, Ontario - John Labatt Centre
My very first NIN concert. At the end of Terrible Lie, Trent Reznor broke this guitar by hitting the microphone stand.
Signed by the touring band at that time, consisting of: Aaron North, Jeordie (Twiggy) White, Josh Freese, Alessandro Cortini, and Trent.
For last 15yrs, it has been protected, craddled in its coffin case. Taken out on the anniversary of its death and admired, and flooding with memories of that special, cold night in London.

On November 7, 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN's music had been a staple in my life since 1991. Since then, I was fortunate enough to witness eight concerts, including meeting the band in Toronto in June 2007.  Their music has always found itself into playlists be it at home or on the go. Congratulations to Trent, Robin, Chris, Ilan, Alessandro, Danny and Atticus. Well deserved!

New AC/DC Video for 'Shot In The Dark' dropped on October 7, 2020. First single from their upcoming album Power Up, to be released November 13, 2020. It is the first album since the passing of Malcolm Young. Back behind the drums is original drummer Phil Rudd. Brian Johnson also takes his rightful spot at the mic stand, after he had to abandon the Rock or Bust tour back in 2015. All the tracks on the album are written by Malcolm & Angus Young. Check out the new video now below.

LZUFP 3rd Led Zeppelin Watch Party - May 31, 2020
Picture
Today we celebrated everything that is John "Bonzo" Bonham. In honour of what would have been his 72nd birthday, we got together for a fun, entertaining Watch Party. We viewed strictly Zeppelin clips, interviews, and news specials all about Bonham. Of course, we ended the 3.5hr celebration with his epic Moby Dick performance. Joining us this week, was Christine Duray, from Art World of Christine Duray.  She generously donated 3 t-shirts with her very own Bonzo artwork on them. Our winners had to answer trivia questions, and let me tell you, they were not very simple ones. Congrats to our winners above for hanging with us the whole time, and sharing memories of their love for Zeppelin. Stay tuned for future collaborations with LZUFP and Christine.

LZUFP 2nd Led Zeppelin Watch Party - May 24, 2020

After the success of our first Zeppelin watch party last week, we had just as much fun this week. Great chats, equally great videos and clips, kept us going for almost 3 full hours of Led Zeppelin. Thanks to our members for joining us again. Stay tuned for May 31st, when we celebrate everything that is John Bonham.

LZUFP 1st Led Zeppelin Watch Party - May 17, 2020

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us today for our very 1st Led Zeppelin Watch Party. We had a great time. We checked out some classic Led Zep live footage, videos, solo clips from Plant, Page & Jones. We got the Led out for almost 4hrs. Can you believe that?

It was suggested that we should make this a weekly event. We are willing to try that out, as long as there are people in the party watching. Was the time and day alright? Or any other suggestions? We were a little late today, due to internet issues, but if a Sunday afternoon works for most, then let's do it.

We will announce the next Watch Party shortly. It was fun playing requests (despite FB video selections being limited), but overall I think it was a blast.

See you all soon. Have a great rest of the weekend (long weekend) and thanks again to everyone who dropped in.
